Though you have many places where you could pursue theological education, we are honored that you have an interest in our seminary. As you probably already know, Tennent is different. In the changing face of theological education, we employ a different model, in a different location, and you’ll work through a uniquely integrated course of study.

We believe that your education should be both academically rigorous and theologically robust, while also stoking your affections for Jesus. We believe that you’re best able to leverage the cause of the gospel in your current context, so we don’t want you to relocate to a seminary campus. At the same time, we believe that theological education should be conducted in theologically consistent formats. Since the Son of God incarnate came to be with us, modeling life on life ministry, we believe that there is no replacement for real life interactions. There are some things a student just can’t get in an online course. Further, we believe that your seminary education should bless your entire family, and not simply you. We believe that your class on the Synoptic Gospels should not be disconnected from another on Spiritual Leadership. And we believe that this education we receive, is truly a gift to be given away. Everything we do at Tennent is driven by these beliefs.
