At Tennent, we hope to provide an excellent theological education at the lowest rates possible; in fact, our goal is to keep tuition at half of the cost of current typical rates for seminary. For 2024, tuition is $215/credit hour. Spouses are welcome to audit any course at no charge; however, no credit towards a degree will be earned.

Room & Board

The total cost is $750 per week at residency, which includes both housing and meals. Because we hope to encourage family involvement in your academic pursuits, we welcome your whole family to come along, and will scholarship their room and board expenses if you choose to bring your spouse, or your spouse and children, along to a residency.

Refund Policy

Upon acceptance into the program, students are required to place a $500, nonrefundable deposit (which will be applied to room and board expenses) in order to secure a place in the cohort and reserve lodging. Students are expected to pay tuition, as well as remaining room and board fees, at the beginning of each term. After the start of term, refunds will be issued at our sole discretion, based on the following guidelines:

Week One: 100% tuition refund, 50% room and board refund

Week Two: 100% tuition refund, room and board becomes nonrefundable

Weeks Three and Four: 50% tuition refund

Week Five Onward: no refunds will be permitted
